the cutest little swede I've ever seen...

Some time ago, I posted this sweater that I knit last year for my nephew, Beckham.  Just recently, I received these photos from his mom, Heather, of him wearing his sweater.  He looks just adorable.  My, don't you just want to squeeze him?!?  He sure looks toasty warm & happy in it! 

booties for a cause...

These are booties that I knitted for a charity sale that takes place this weekend.  All proceeds are going to the Homeless Shelter in Eagan.   

my biggest knitting project...

I was thinking of this project the other day.  I made a large blanket for my mom last year for X-mas.  This is just a swatch of it.  I remembered starting it about this time last year as it took me almost four months to finish!  

it's almost winter...

   

well, not really, but these are two of my favorite scarves. Completely different, but love them both. Made them last year & wear them a ton.

fuzzy for wynter...

I knit this for my friend, Krista.  They had their first baby girl last X-mas Eve & named her Wynter.  I love the buttons on this bulky, wool sweater.  It's so girly!

the swede...

I made this for my nephew, Beckham.  He's almost 8 months old now & hope he wears it this fall & winter. My husband, Kent, is strong to his heritage of swedish & norwegian.  He takes all the credit for this adorable, swedish sweater!  Can't wait to see it on B!
