call it a button...

This is quite the button!  I had one of the most wonderful lunches with two of my friends last Saturday afternoon.  In fact, Lynda's kitchen is my absolute favorite kitchen ever!  I wish I had taken pictures to show you how great it is.  She also has the most eclectic house I've ever been in (she calls it victorian with a smile) so it's fitting that I walked away with this little gem of a button.  She was trying to "clean out" her studio stuffed with fabric, yarn & goodies...so I was happy when she pulled this out from the bottom of her stash & handed it to me.  Of course, it can be found in my Etsy Shop in case you're interested.  :)

I couldn't resist posting this photo.  In the mail yesterday, I received a X-mas card from my friend, Shannon.  An absolutely adorable photo of her two girls outside their home in New Ulm.  Made me smile to see them wearing something that I made!

Hi all.  Well, more good news...my fabric flower brooches can now be found in another store in Minneapolis!  For those of you that don't already know, Patina is, in my opinion, one of the best local gift shops in the Twin Cities.  My birthday present last year from my hubby was a Liquid Metal bracelet that only Patina had.  I had been in search of it for years & stumbled upon it at Patina.  They have tons of unique, one-of-a-kind items.  If you have never been in a Patina store, you must go!  

They recently opened a new store called Shoppe Local just down the block from their 50th & Bryant Patina store in south Minneapolis.  It's a great store filled with all local goodies including jewelry, kitchen items, clothes, lotions, candles, baby/kid & of course, now my flower brooches!  Stopped by there today to snap some photos.  My brooches are in a glass case with handbags right now, so some of the photos are not as clear as I had hoped.  But this gives you an idea of the great items in their store!

Well, yes I do like you, my fellow blog readers, but I'm talking about the store in NE Minneapolis.  I've been neglecting my blog the past couple weeks as I've been busy, busy, busy creating new fabric flower brooches to market my handmade goodies.  The good news is...is that I Like You is now carrying my brooches!  So, not only can you find me in my Etsy Shop, but you can find me at this great, local shop as well.  

In addition to that great news, I will also be having a "trunk show" at I Like You on Saturday, Dec. 12th from 2 - 5pm.  This event will feature eight local artists presenting our products at the store.  So, please stop by to check it out.  They have wonderful gifts for the holidays!  It should be great holiday shopping!
